The Grady-White 280 Marlin has the largest walkaround in the Grady-White fleet with a spacious cabin and a well-arranged cockpit layout. Hull construction is solid fiberglass, and the Marlin's deep-V hull was specifically designed by Hunt & Associates. The below deck cavities are filled with polyurethane flotation, which makes the Marlin unsinkable which is an uncommon feature in a boat this size. With her walkaround deck layout and big cockpit, the interior dimensions are necessarily limited but hardly confining. Indeed, there are comfortable berths for four (including a big quarter berth that extends below the bridgedeck), plus a stand-up head compartment with shower, excellent headroom, and a compact galley. There is an engine bracket platform with transom door and swim ladder, fish box, 30-gallon livewell, and tackle center.
