Introducing "Enigma," our beloved Nautique Saintonge Rorqual – She has been used as a full time liveaboard since 2022 and with the new additional wind generator (D400) and 480W of solar power she has proven to be a very comfortable off grid liveaboard without the need for berthing for shorepower. The brand new fischer Panda 5000i has not yet been installed however is on board, and once installed will ensure the new owners will be fully self-sufficient for off - grid living. Enigma is a beautiful design with a spacious interior ready to step on and sail away.She has had plenty of work done in the last 3 years to help modernise not only the aesthetics of the boat, but also key systems that ensure she is a comfortable cruiser. These works will be listed below.
Unfortunately, due to work commitments and us departing the UK we are having to put Enigma up for sale. Though she is mostly complete, there are still some aesthetic points like the headliners in the aft cabin and above chart table that still need to be completed. The generator has also not yet been installed and will need some modification to the generator base frame to get an accurate fit. However the placement of the generator may be better suited elsewhere to the owners discretion. If time allows on my next visit I will look at getting someone to continue with the installation.

Comforts:• 12v/220v Cool box used as fridge underneath chart table• 4 Burner gas hob and oven, Only 3 of the hobbs seem to work.• Airfryer to compensate for the gas cooker.• Full functioning shower.• Gas BBQ attached to the pushpit.• Log Burner stove, for those cold winter nights.• Davit System aft for dinghy, this also works with a telescopic swim platform. (photos show one missing, however this has since been put back)
Water:• 315l Capacity of fresh water over 2 tanks.• 3 means of heating water, A 1kw immersion within the 40l calorifier, A 12v webasto water heater is fitted for when not connected to shore power. Finally a plate cooler installed to run off the engine and back into the calorifier.• 12v Jabsco Pump• 5l Accumulator tank
Nav:• New 2024 Stainless helm installed• Chart Plotter• Echosounder integrated with chart plotter• Tri colour/anchor light & additional nav lights lower down for redundancy• New 2024 Simrad autopilot, 2 interfaces one on the helm station, one inside to allow vessel to be controlled from inside the cabin during fair weather.• VHF Radio• 1X Hard shell 6 man life raft. Life raft out of service however I enquired last year and is still serviceable.
The boat is currently on a pontoon berth in the river Fal, Falmouth, Cornwall and is a Nautique Saintonge Rorqual named Enigma, UK small ships registered. The current berth is on a rolling contract at the minute and though I can ensure availability the owner will be obliged to take over the payments once sold. The last survey was done on 13/02/2019.
