The SW 16 skiff is designed to be very stable side to side, and tip to tail, and to float very shallow. Our bottom width is 54", and our beam is 78". We want our boat owners to feel stable when leaning over the gunwale, and to be comfortable navigating obstructions when running under motor. The hull bottom is flat from near the bulk head to the transom with three raised 1" ribs. There is a very shallow "v" on our hull bottom just forward of the bulk head to cut chop. Designed to be very stable side to side, tip to tail, and to float very shallow.Pictured below drafting in less than 2” with a 4 stroke 30 horse and a guy up front.We want our owners to feel comfortable when leaning over the gunwale netting a State Record, and to be confident navigating shallow rocky waters.The hull bottom is flat from the transom to the bulkhead with three raised 1” ribs for enhanced tracking.Features a very shallow "v" on our hull bottom just forward of the bulk head running forward to the bow to cut chop.Designed to have significant side wall angle moving forward from mid-ship to the bow. This keeps our hull wide for displacement, and stability, and really helps our SW 16 stay dry when running.The spray from bounce, and chop naturally is shed to the side and away. Below is a video of the SW16 running.Our SW 16 skiff gets on plane with a 15 horse, but is challenged to get on plane with a 9.9. (Rated for 40 horse)Expect comfortable running speeds of 20-25 mph with a 25-40 horse outboard, two adults, and gear.The key is keeping the motor weight as close to 200lbs. or less.We recommend a hydrofoil stabilizer on your lower unit to help with lift, and to eliminate any bouncing or porpoising.The SW 16 hull is roto-molded in one piece, so there are no seams, welds, epoxies, glues, bolts, or screws.The SW 16 hull floats upside down, with a hole in her, or cut in half.The proprietary high density polyethylene we use to roto - mold the SW 16 hull is more forgiving when hitting rocks, and other hard objects when compared to aluminum and fiberglass.The SW 16 high density polyethylene hull is very, very quiet when compared to aluminum or fiberglass.The SW 16 boat hull has molded-in universal accessory mounting plates on the front deck, and in the cockpit for quick, and easy plug-n-play options for pedestal seating, benches, gear boxes, leaning posts, grab bars, coolers, raised casting platforms, and pretty much anything else you can dream of.The SW 16 has a molded in rear bench with LOTS of dry storage for required items, and personal gear.Rocks do not scratch the color of the SW16The SW 16 hull's color is compounded into the hdp resin, so our hull color does not scratch when it hits a rock, or a boat dock like gel coated fiberglass, or painted aluminum.The SW16 hull is family friendly. Her shallow drafting hull is designed to be very stable side to side.The "shallow v" shape in our SW16 hull is designed to cut a small chop while under motor on plane while minimizing draft.The SW16 hull shape allows for a very wide range of uses for the fresh, and salt shallow water boater.Our poling platform, different size front decks, rear deck, and oar lock-blade lock option thru-bolt with 5/16-18 stainless hardware, so they are easy to assemble, and remove.The SW16 roto-molded hull construction is a very dog friendly boat.The SW16 polyethylene hull is very easy to clean.The SW16 hull repair process is very straightforward Make us a reasonable offer and we may well take it.     This is a one owner Xpress H18C boat in pristine condition, owned by a retired senior citizen, and selling due to wanting a center console bay boat.  The boat trailer is the factory furnished aluminum Back Track AW18 with aluminum wheels.  The boat has over $5,000 of factory options including upgraded Euro seats (3), blue appearance package with full Sea Dek installation including floor deck, 3 batteries (one starter and two trolling motor), 6" manual jack plate, Bay Star hydraulic steering, interior LED light package including all boxes,  recirculating livewell, Wet Sounds premium sound system, and upgraded stainless steel prop. Additional accessories ($8,823 parts and $3,035 labor) added since purchase and installed by the boat dealer are: Minn Kota Riptide Terrova saltwater 80# trolling motor (1363746) with I-Pilot link GPS with remote and quick release bracket (RTA 17), Minn Kota 1865106 MKR-19 waterproof 60A circuit breaker for trolling motor, Humminbird 411650-1 Helix 7 Chirp MSI GPSG4N fish finder now installed at the helm (Humminbird 740200-1 1DMK H7R2 model in-dash kit), Humminbird 08450-1 5 port Ethernet Switch and all cabling for an optional bow Humminbird 411410-1 Helix 10 Chirp MEGA DI + GPS 4GN and optional Humminbird 710-281-1 XTM 9 HW MDI T trolling motor transducer, T-H Marine AHJ-6V-DP Atlas 6: hydraulic jack plate with guage kit and blinker, Attwood heavy duty automatic bilge pump, Nilight 300W triple row LED light bar and harness, Covercraft custom boat cover. Boat dealer performed the 20 hour service and I just completed doing the "100 hour or annual" required maintenance with only 51 hours on the motor.  I used all Yamaha brand items on the service and have all the documentation for both services. Original motor warranty expires on 10/28/2026 Extended policy warranty expires on 10/29/2029 which requires an inspection by a Yamaha dealer within 15 days of selling the boat. This boat needs nothing to my knowledge, has been kept under cover since new.  Feel free to contact me by e-mail or phone for any questions or to set up a time to come look at the boat.  You may find one cheaper, but check to see that you are comparing apples to apples.
