The hull, from about12” above the waterline to the keel, has a progressive 6 to 12 additional layers of fibreglass toreinforce the hull in preparation of the circumnavigation.Alacrity has 2 separate lifting ring positions on the main cabin roof. One is over the main engineposition and the other is over the generator position. No additional reinforcement is needed tolift the engine or generator other than your lifting hoists.
