The 400 SS has redefined the high performance express cruiser, and its famous FASTECH hull, customized for the 400 SS, boasts a stable, dry ride with agility of a true performer. The diesel hardtop version is the ultimate pakage for this model with the best power, comfort and economy. Boat has been Rack and Lift kept all of its life before moving to the Great Lakes. Drives have been have been resealed and vacuum/pressure tested this year. Full four year bare hull rebuild/restore of one of a kind Don Aronow off-shore performance boat with new custom twin 330 hp engines built by Mercury Marine with Bravo-1 outdrives with showers and SS cleaver props. This is the legendary Formula F233 Interceptor deep-V hull that takes any kind of water and slices through for a smooth controlled ride, like that of much larger boats. Engines are new bullet proof configuration, with 4-bolt mains, roller rocker push rods and cam rollers. GM big valve Vortec heads, Edelbrock aluminum intake and Edelbrock 4-barrel carbs. 4" Corsa custom Captains choice exhaust. Engines only have 96 hours each. 80 gallon gas tank. Cabin has V-bunk and two person each facing couches. Aluminum HD Shorelander trailer, twin axle with hydraulic surge brakes on all. Boat tops at 72 mph and can cruise at any speed. Electric trim tabs. Boat rides and performs like a boat at 30+ feet, but with the less size and weight. Easy to trailer with F-150 or 1500 series PU. Boat is unique and gets incredible attention on the water. Sound is awesome with 4" CORSA exhaust. Boat is as reliable as a new boat as a result of the full restoration.
