This boat is trailerable and comes with a custom triple axle torsion bar suspension trailer.

The Oceanis 400 has a fin keel with a bulb that lowers the center of gravity and makes it easier to sail more comfortable and ecient. The large wheel and balanced rudder make steering easy under sail and under engine when manoeuvring. The deck has excellent detail workmanship, and the cockpit hatch and the main cabin window hatch are integrated into one unit. The Oceanis 400 has a hull that offers superior performance while maintaining stability and safety under sail. The version with deep draft has a deeper fin, which has a lower center of gravity and additional power, especially against the wind. The Oceanis 400 has three cabins and two toilets, and the layout is comfortable for longer trips ore live aboard. The Saloon has a traditional yacht feel with teak throughout.
