The Africat 420 is a robustly built and beautifully finished power catamaran that is a rare find on the market. This specific unit, aptly named Sea Angel, is in impeccable condition and recently upgraded and maintained by its experienced owners. The Volvo IPS 500 engines (pod drive transmission) have low hours on them and have recently been serviced for optimum performance. Sea Angel features a 3 cabin/ 3 head interior layout. The IPS 500 drives are controlled by electronic throttle from three different positions in the cockpit and joystick. The IPS pods greatly facilitate maneuvers in port and in tight quarters compared to straight shaft propulsion arrangement. Sea Angel is 110V boat originally built for the US market. All engines have recent batteries. In addition to the house lithium battery bank and solar panels, the boat is also equipped with a water maker, and a 9KVA Onan generator, which powers the 3 AC units. A Highfield RIB tender with 15 hp Honda outboard is maneuvered on and off the boat with a hydraulic crane positioned on the fore deck. This turn-key proven yacht is ready to go.
