1981 33' Tartan Cruiser with four foot draw and 52' above water line clearance. She took care of this novice captain as I solo'd the Atlantic coast from Newburyport MA to St Augustine FL and back. She lived up to her reputation and constantly receives adoring compliments.
The Tartan 33 is a highly respected cruiser designed by Sparkman & Stephens, known for quality construction, excellent sailing characteristics, and timeless design. "Valiente" (Hull #100) is an early production boat built when Tartan's quality was at its peak.
