Launched in 2017 to critical acclaim, the Elan GT5 was a groundbreaking concept, introduced to the world of sailing. Conceived as a grand tourer, a term borrowed from the automotive industry, the yacht exists on the crossover point between a luxury cruising yacht, and a performance cruiser. The GT5 has a performance hull, twin rudders and a hard active chine - all features designed by Humphreys Yacht Design and intended to increase the yachts performance and control. In combination with a semi-deck-saloon for increased interior volume, handcrafted luxury interior and a myriad of luxurious equipment options, this is the quintessential luxury performance cruiser in the 40 to 45 foot range. With the swim platform, options of a cockpit galley featuring a fridge, grill and other amenities common on much larger yachts, the GT5 cockpit is designed for enjoying time with family and friends, offering ample seating area and different innovative cockpit table options converting the seating into a sunbathing lounge. A clean deck design ensures fast and safe passage forward, and enables plenty of sunbathing area with dedicated cushions on the foredeck. The space below deck is unique in her class. The Elan Design Team has implemented an inverted saloon layout featuring the galley forward, ensuring optimal utilisation of the yacht’s volume for the most comfortable and innovative saloon in her size range. The galley forward offers ample storage space with a customisable corner to be equipped individually for each owner. The 180-degree panoramic skylight with the window in window feature, two hatches and one large central hatch allows the saloon to be ventilated at all times. The new GT5 is also the only yacht this size to offer a separate shower compartment with a 3-cabin, 2-heads interior layout.
Traveling the world is the adventure of a lifetime. To do that in comfort and with a boat that is safe and secure will make it a joy. We have the North Sea just a few miles from our yard and our sailing yachts are designed to withstand the challenging conditions you encounter in the windy north hemisphere and in the rocky shallow Swedish archipelagos. The true quality of a Najad, lies in what you do not see; in the strong vacuum infused vinylester hulls with a perfectly fitted core of isolating divinycell, in the grid structure with reinforcement around the boat or in the bulkhead that are fully laminated to the hull and superstructure. In essence, when you have a Najad you get one of the most solid constructed sailing yachts. At Najad we believe in evolution and the Najad 451 CC is the first of our Next Generation range of yachts. With over 2000 high quality yachts produced since the early 1970s we have refined our formula for decades. We are a boutique for exclusive and elegant sailing yachts and have always produced yachts with superior quality. With the Najad 451 CC we have taken our obsession for detail to the next level; from the clean and flush deck, to the long elegant window line including the integrated engine ventilation, to the superior handcrafted interior. The Najad 451 CC is a unique yacht in her class. For a 45-foot cruiser she is very efficient in the water and responsive at helm. This is of course in line with what you expect from a real Najad. We firmly believe that travelling the globe on an elegant yacht will give you an indescribably unique feeling.
This Elan yacht has been designed with every comfort in mind. Leisure when cruising is guaranteed. Relaxation and enjoyment are a priority – everything from the large volume, sunbathing areas in the cockpit, an outdoor grill and fridge, to microwave and coffee machine options. The cockpit is built for enjoyment at anchor, as well as sailing pleasure. Ample seating for up to 10 people will make sure everyone is comfortable on board. The optional modular cockpit table converts into two sunbeds and enables lounging and sunbathing in the cockpit as well. Beautifully designed steering pedestals can support 9-inch electronics and a myriad of other instruments that one might wish for. The twin helm with composite steering wheels offers freedom of movement aboard. There are plenty of cockpit lockers as well, offering enough space for a life-raft and any other equipment that needs to be on hand. Integrated into the deck are two transom boxes, which offer an extended seating area for the skipper and guests and can hold both a grill and a refrigerator. The yacht comes with a small bathing platform in the standard configuration, which can be upgraded to a large platform for more space, safety and a closed transom feel.No Impression yacht would be complete without the now-iconic transom seats, which are sure to be the first taken as the yacht sets sail. The deck can be enhanced with both synthetic and real teak, depending on the wishes of the owner. Large, flush hatches and portlights are built into the coach roof in many places, letting both light and that soothing breeze into the interior. The yacht has a self-tacking jib in the standard configuration, but this can be upgraded to a genoa among other options. Owners can choose between three- or four-cabin versions. The three-cabin version includes an en-suite with an island bed and a spacious head with a separate shower, while the four-cabin version adds a cabin with bunk beds that is perfect for families or groups of friends. The interior is built with a “rustic” oak veneer and marine-grade plywood, contrasted with modern grey-coloured storage cupboards. A solid oak finish is applied wherever the furniture is expected to go through the most use to increase its durability. The saloon can comfortably seat the crew around a centre table, flanked by two solid wood chairs that fold into a pre-determined space when sailing. It can also be easily converted into a double berth. The long side-galley features a three-ring stove with an oven and a front-opening refrigerator on the convenient L-shaped cabinet. The long layout offers plenty of surface space and cupboards for storage. The stove area is protected by easy-to-clean panels and is ventilated by a hatch above.
With her beautiful lines, modern hull shape, open transom, more accessible stowage and increased interior light, she continues in the tradition of the Arcona 410 as a quality performance cruiser with superb attention to detail. The impressive pace, comfort, great lines and ability to sail with ease even in difficult weather conditions will continue in the Arcona 415. Experience the feel and responsiveness of the boat to the helm. With the sheets and control lines all to hand in the cockpit, she is easy to sail shorthanded. The Arcona 415 has twin wheels, first introduced to the Arcona fleet on the Arcona 410, which make it possible to sit well to windward with a clear view of the sails whilst the spacious cockpit has room for the whole crew when in harbour. The Arcona 415 is equipped with a Yanmar 3JH40C x SD60-5-223S as standard and can be upgraded to a diesel 4JH45C x SD60-5-223S. The Arcona 415 can also be upgraded to an Oceanvolt Servoprop 15kW electric propulsion system, with variable pitch propeller technology and comes with a 23.2kWh* battery pack. A 15kW electric motor is the equivalent of a 50hp diesel engine on our 40-43ft yachts.
The Arcona 435 illustrates the evolution of design and innovation for Arcona Yachts. She is a boat that will win regattas one weekend and then take the family for a comfortable and safe sail the next. The Arcona 435 continues to uphold Arcona’s strong heritage of innovation and design excellence, using high quality materials and best workmanship. The Arcona 435 is a fast, modern and easy-to-manage 43 foot performance cruiser. She is both safe and stable with laminated bulkheads and Arcona’s galvanised steel girder. She is a joy to sail as she responds quickly to trim input and doesn’t weigh more than 8900kg. The Arcona 435 can also be specified with carbon hull, deck and spars which reduces her weight further. Modish, elegant, the bluewater Stradivarius, just some of the praises sung of the Contest 42CS by the world’s leading yachting media. So, no wonder this neat, sophisticated 13-metre cruiser is a proud European Yacht of the Year winner. And just as this aft-cockpit yacht is about quality and comfort, it’s also about performance and design. The Contest 42CS is the smallest range-model, yet from the get-go conceived and constructed to the very same high production and sailing values of the larger yachts in the Contest line. At this length exceptional, and as such exactly the findings of the expert jury of top European yachting editors. Altogether, this with a remarkable choice of cabin, deck and rig arrangements makes the up to 6+2 berth Contest 42CS fully capable of safe, comfortable and fast ocean passaging while also offering perfect coastal hopping and bay outings for younger families or couples simply vacationing.

The ultimate classic yacht with some extreme modern techniques resulted in the D&D 43’, a pure 100% Dutch built Yacht. This foam cored composite hull structure features some modern esthetical aspects. Her negative bow will tend to speak of modernity but on the contrary we have seen these extremities centuries ago in naval warfare. With her custom made carbon rig this yacht is showing with her beautiful extra long overhangs an era of racing almost forgotten. The hull structure and 90% of her other hardware are constructed of materials which do not need so much maintenance as her older counterparts. This results in a considerate amount of annual cash-flow less in expenses. These are calculated to be approx. 90% less under normal circumstances.Only 5 months are needed to build the whole project from A-Z.The deck layout of this yacht reminds us of the classics from the 19th century. The twist to bring her back to the future is choosing a relative modern look by keeping all decks painted cloud white contrasting with the polished custom made stainless steel deck parts, winches and tiller. The main goal is to see less materials. When you will see her at the docks or under sail you will think she is an old beauty with a modest modern taste. She will have an IRC rating Certificate and is intentionally developed for the Spirit of Tradition races in the Med, Caribbean and North AmericaHer design and newly created lines have been inspired by many yachts favoring the Scandinavian skerry cruisers, all metre class designs, hull shape of America’s Cup Yachts around 2003, Herreshof designs, Fife designs and some local Dutch lake sailing yachts. Her lines plan was created by studying all of these yachts. Drawn by hand and later faired with the aid of CAD design software. Normally today designers tend to create their lines direct from their computer. I insisted to draw them the old fashioned way.Inside the cockpit there are a few modern systems. You will find the Ipod dock, waterproof electrical switches for the Tack Tick wireless navigation instruments, engine panel, voltage/fuel indicators, shore power and the engine drives. Underneath the cockpit lies the smallest and sleekest 13hp Lombardini sail-drive you can find on the market today. The forward port-side cockpit locker is arranged as a 100 liters fridge. On the starboard side a bunk is reserved for keeping personal stuff dry and safe. Other bunks are cleared for fenders and lines storage and much more. If these ones are full there is still more storage spaces in the lazarette. Due to her low freeboard and fine underbody she has just the space inside to store all sails and lines accessed by the flush deck hatch in front of the mast. After a night in town one can fall easily asleep inside the bow on the sailing bags. Picking up her shiny stainless steel tiller you can sail away with style and navigate without much to think about with just a great tune, sea, wind and friends.Once in the harbor you can leave her stern to with the covers over her sails. You can also decide to dismantle her just in an afternoon at the nearby shipyard. Her keel, rudder, mast, boom and bow sprit all come off with ease. When ready all materials including the hull will be rolled on her own trailer into a 45ft pellet wide sea container. Ideal for winter storage!
