Beautiful 13’ solid wood sailing dinghy / row boat. Unknown manufacturer, no hull number. I haven't been able to find another like it. Excellent condition, gently used. Gaff sail. Wood ores. Like new 2021 trailer included with MD title. The boat is currently at Smith Mountain Lake in Virginia but I also live in Maryland, I can bring it to Maryland if needed. I can also deliver to boat to any location. Asking price is much less than appraised value of 14k.
1932 Hollycraft “Needle” Racing boat with Evinrude 4-60 outboard engine. This boat was one of only two such models built by the Hollycraft Boat Company in California. The boat is a survivor having been stored indoors for more than 60 years. The boat is on a wooden trailer with wheels from a 1930’s truck. The previous owner believed the name “Rustler” may have referred to the original owner, who was John Wayne’s stunt double, although no definitive proof has been found to support this claim. The engine is a modified Evinrude F 460 engine. This boat would make a great addition to any wooden boat collection.
Carenna is a John Welsford designed gunter yawl rigged dayboat. She is fast, safe and stable, easily launched (and recovered) from a custom road trailer (a 'break- back' but not necessary).
