Beschrijving
1992 Sandmeier now for sale with DBY Boat Sales.
Kalosini II was built in Bavaria based on a Sandmeir design.
It was set up for the Atlantic so every aspect from the thickness of the alloy hull to the rig and fitout was extremely heavy duty. She’s set up for easy single handed sailing with hydraulic winches/furling/anchor etc.
With the long keel and hull design she feels stable and safe in the heaviest of conditions.
In 2003 she cruised from Germany to Australia where she spent the next decade cruising the Australian coast and ultimately settled in Pittwater. For the last five years she’s been mainly doing short cruises around Sydney. She’s fully operational but needs some work to be ready for long distance cruising again.
Recent work has included new B&G instrumentation for wind/speed/depth etc.
