The Moody 34 which was designed by Bill Dixon, who by now had taken over the Angus Primrose office, this was a more refined and spacious design that capitalised on the developments of the earlier boats.
While many new designs of this period had changed to spade rudders, the 34 retained a half-depth skeg from which the rudder was hung, but it also benefited from some balance area below this point to reduce the weight of the helm.
This is a wonderful example of a Moody 34 centre cockpit, the vendor has spent a lot of time and money in getting this vessel cruising ready to bring her back to the UK and use her to explore the coast of England. Covid 19 has however now disturbed the owners plans.
