1984 Catalina 30, standard mast, Project Boat. I bought this boat from the original owner after Hurricane Ike hit the Houston area in 2008. She was docked at the Houston Yacht Club during the storm and took a bit of damage during the storm. There are no holes in the hull, however there is a bit of dock rash as noted in the pictures. The mast did come down as well, however only has minor damage right at the base, again noted in a picture; otherwise the mast is straight.
The price includes a custom built tandem axle trailer, that is valued at $6500. The interior is all original and is in good shape. Sale comes with a full suit of sails (main, 110, 155, spinnaker).
The beauty of this project boat (and for a boat of its size) is that it is on a trailer and can be hauled anywhere for repairs, so if you have the time and a place to store it and do the work, this may be the ideal project boat for you. There is only minor fiberglass repair to be done and then re-gelcoat the topsides. She will need all new standing and running rigging, and bow and stern pulpits. If you can provide the labor, then new hardware will be your biggest expense. You could end up with a completely refurbished Catalina 30 and once she's back in the water, sell the trailer to recoup some of the expenses.
I am asking $10K or best offer for both the boat and trailer. I do have a buyer for the trailer if you only want the boat.
Will consider trading for a ski boat.
