WESTRAY, a classic 39-foot Concordia yawl, #79 (of 99 Concordias built at Abeking and Rasmussen) was shipped from Bremen, Germany in 1960, and was commissioned on July 4, 1960 at Padanaram, Mass. She was then cruised and raced by four consecutive owners until the present day. During that time, she competed in distance racing, crossed the Atlantic to Norway, and back in the US continued to succeed in races and cruises to this very day, receiving many improvements in the process. Her racing equipment (including full sail inventory) reflects a commitment to boat speed and ease of handling.

Since 2011 the boat has received major updates including new Beta Marine 38 HP engine, plumbing, electronics, and new standing and running rigging, among other improvements, like entire restoration of the interior, coach house, and decks.

Fresh Paint and Varnish have been professionally applied every year, and she is presently in boat show condition.
