Pax Nostrum,known in Denmark as a sharkfisher was built in 1928 and is 19 metres on deck with a further 5 metres of liftable bowsprit.
Carefully and lovingly refurbished by the current owners over 20 years, although most of the major work has been done in the last 12 years.
Currently she is on the hard standing in Peake Yachts,Chaguaramus,Trinidad,West Indies, having sailed Pax from Portugal, via Gibraltar, Lanzarote,Cape Verde's, Barbados,Bequai ,Carriacou and Grenada.
We departed in January this year,consequently she is all set to continue ocean sailing.

The current owners have sailed extensively during the past 10 years, including from Gib to The Channel Islands, around the Med and atlantic as far as S Morrocco, the Canaries and Madeira.

6 cylinder diesel, electric start. some spares onboard. Gardner 6LX which we completely stripped,reconditioned and rebuilt before installing in 2007.
Oak on oak, she was fibreglass sheathed in 1981. This coating was removed in 2006, revealing little rot. After replacing the necessary planks, she was then splined with softwood before the hull was carefully prepared and a new coat of fibreglass applied; this was done by the current owners who ensured the fibreglass/wood bond was complete both physically and chemically. 6layers of chopstrand mat plus top lsyer of tissue on hull,doubked up on keel and 15 layers on bow, The same was done to the deck but 3layers of mat ensuring a watertight boat.
She was lifted in October,2017, when we stripped the old antifoul paint off, cleaned and put on a new primer coat; followed by antifouling. We lifted her in November this year, so she is currently out of the water.
We replaced the main mast rigging and bowsprit shrouds in late 2017. Also a very accomplished ex fishing skipper reconstructed the bowsprit netting and refixed it to the new shrouds.

Recently completed insulating , wood panelling and varnishing the walls and ceiling in the galley and heads. Also installed LEDs

Below decks 2 fore cabins with 6 berths and large hold with owner's double and 2 single berths of providing a large space to accommodate more cabins /saloon/workshop. etc..
Completely rewired providing a double ringmain around the complete interior,
Pax is extremely spacious and would make an excellent movable family home. She is currently a lovely liveaboard boat.
Actually when we bought her in 1992 she was a hostel in Gibraltar which we kept her as for a while,housing 13 people!!
