283 Release powered by twin, 225HP Yamaha motors, an extremely versatile center console boat!
283 Release from Grady-White is an offshore-oriented center console.
The bow seating arrangement includes storage-locker seats with a cockpit-level walkway in the center. This also makes a great casting deck.
The leaning post contains a 45-gallon live well, a rigging station, a sink and plenty of tackle storage room.
In the transom, there's a 265-quart fish box with an overboard drain and a heavy-duty transom door. Additionally, you'll find two insulated, 135-quart fish boxes on port and starboard sides of the boat.
This boat also has under-gunwale rod storage with Grady's lockable compartment system that provides total security for your rod storage.
At the helm, dual Simrad electronics systems are contained in an enclosure that can be raised out of the console for full visibility or lowered out of sight for security and protection from the sun. These Simrad systems have a fishfinder, tracking and GPS and are capable of plugging into radar. This system also has the autopilot feature included.
Behind the enclosure, you'll find all of the engine readouts for your convenience. Everything is easily accessed from the helm.

Condition
This boat appears to be in good working condition and is ready to go fishing per the seller. However, there are several items that need to be addressed at some point. There is no water working on the boat, it likely needs a new water pump minimum. The toilet is not working. The Fusion stereo head unit needs to be replaced, speakers work per the seller. The windlass is not working, not sure what it needs. Of course, we always recommend that any buyer inspect the unit or have it independently surveyed to confirm the unit's condition before purchase.
