Whalers with Yamaha outboards are one of the most desirable boats afloat. The dreaded 125 Mercury with cutout cylinders was not their best work. The HPDI gives it incredible power with stunning efficiency, it has only 481 hours. The 150's were great motors that bridged the gap when 2 strokes went to four stroke motors. Actually a better fit than a Four Stroke outboard as they were much lighter and that is how the Whaler was designed.... NOT for the newer and much heavier 4 strokes.
Clever seating//fishing arrangement in the stern. Fisherman can fly fish and cast fro either bow or stern. The stern platform opens up to create a full beam comfortable bench seat. It make it a bigger boat by using space efficiently
Nice TTOP, stereo, Yamaha digital gauges. NO fancy electronics that would be obsolete today. The full beam aft convertible seating makes this a super family day boat or a fisherman's platform... you pick it. Take her away on it's matched trailer with brakes. I don't need to tell you that Yamaha powered Whalers are in high demand. So seize the day....
Manufacturer Provided Description
The sporty Boston Whaler 180 Dauntless is unusually roomy for an 18 1/2-footer. It features tons of storage space - in the bow anchor locker, in the console, under the pilot seat and under the stern deck. There?s plenty of room for fishing gear, with a rod / ski rack, plus console and stern deck rod holders, and a portside stern livewell. Options such as a Fishing Package or Comfort Package allow owners to customize for their kind of fun on the water - fun that?s made even more pleasant thanks to the smooth, dry ride of the deep-V Accutrack hull system.
