The Fairey Huntsman 31 is renowned for its excellent performance and seakeeping qualities. This beautiful example of these enduring classics is powered by twin Ford Sabre 180hp diesel engines and has recently been refurbished by its present owner and is ready for this summer.
This Fairey Huntsman "Sabre Knight" was the last H31 built, and more recently she was laid up ashore for many years and had a comprehensive re-build and re-fit during 2020.

Accommodation
The accommodation offers four berths in two cabins. In main saloon, two settee berths. There is a stowage locker in the forepeak. Saloon table. Galley to starboard. Stainless steel sink with hot and cold pressurised water system with new calorifier. Two burner electric induction hob. There is no gas aboard. Separate heads compartment with new electric marine toilet and washbasin. Steps up to cockpit. Helm position to port. Steps down to aft cabin with two single berths.
Mechanical Systems
Located under the cockpit sole, twin Ford Sabre 180hp six-cylinder diesel engines. Freshwater cooled via heat exchangers.
Shaft drive to three-bladed propellers. (Repolished)
Single lever Morse control to each engine.
New stainless braided fuel hoses.
4 x fuel tanks. Total 150 gallons
Water tank 200 litre
Hot water from new calorifier.
Black water tank 100 litre

Fairey Marine hot moulded mahogany hull, white painted. Planing hull with spray chines. Varnished rubbing strakes. Wooden superstructure with varnished coamings. Teak laid deck. Centre cockpit. Wheel steering. The boat has been maintained and kept to her original design. It is rare to find a classic craft in this original condition.
