Beschrijving
A true classic TSDY, this impressive example of a Fleur de Lys 58 from 1961 has been maintained in lovely condition by her current owner irrespective of cost. The yacht has everything needed for serious cruising, along with many practical and homely fittings, making her a very comfortable boat at sea and in the harbour. It would also make a lovely home on the water for not a lot of money.
Twin Roots Lister engines producing 125hp each.
Deplanked between 2000 until 2012, 16x new coachroof mounted solar panels and gel batteries fitted in 2020, last lifted for antifouling in May 2021, new Raymarine HybridTouch Screen.

Built by Dagless Ltd in Cambridgeshire UK, to a design by J Francis Jones.
Built using 1 7/16" thick Iroko Planks, , on 4.5" x 2.5" Sawn Oak frames, she has steamed intermediate timbers (also Iroko,) Bronze screws into the sawn frames and copper rivets in to the steamed timbers. She has a mixture of grown (natural grain shape) Iroko Floors, and Galvanised Steel strap floors. She has a cast iron 2.5 ton External ballast keel through bolted to the hog and keel plank with Hot Dipped 1" Galvanised Steel bolts.
She is Cascover Sheathed, to the waterline ( this was ALL removed before her big refit to allow access to any bits that needed attention below, THEN she was re sheathed up to the
waterline.
Engines
Original Three cylinder Rootes / Lister TS3 MG/R Diesels producing 125 hp each, well maintained and rebuilt in approx 2008. LOTS of spares are kept aboard and re-ordered and stock replenished as required.
They navigate reduction Hydraulic gearboxes down straight shafts. A recent Stainless exhaust unit upgrade has reduced noise dramatically apparently, (new shafts, new glands, and new tubes tailored in last few years).
These engines ought to give her gentle 7.5 Knots cruise and push her on to 10 speed Max+ if required .
