This yacht is an eloquent example of yachting history. Canoe sterned, full displacement design by noted naval architect, Laurent Giles and built by venerable Abeking & Rasmussen Shipyard. Hull design was developed as a North Atlantic Coast Guard cutter. This boat was built as a pleasure yacht. The yacht has been owned by individuals that have enjoyed her character and they have upgraded the yacht to its current condition. SHYRAGA offers the elegance of true yachting at its best, with modern conveniences and decor. SHYRAGA has four staterooms and sleeps 8. The master stateroom has a king walkaround bed and en suite bath. The VIP has a walkaround queen bed and en suite bath. The two smaller guest staterooms share a bath which also serves as a day head. The yacht, was completely rebuilt in 1986/87, refit in 1995/96 and 2005/06, has a varnished mahogany interior. The yacht is complemented with a very tastefully chosen interior of a classic decor. The wheelhouse has been completely and technologically upgraded (2006) without losing the charm of a sea going vessel. Communications systems and audio visual systems are state-of-the-art. This yacht is stabilized, fully air-conditioned, and offers long range at comfortable speeds. In addition to the elegant salon and dining area and the luxurious accommodations for eight, the most wonderful aspect of SHYRAGA is her stunning aft deck which is large enough for comfortable relaxing and for elegant dining. The moon and sun deck allow guests to enjoy the view and elements high above the water. The full walkaround decks offer the opportunity to stroll around the yacht and enjoy the sea.
