    The 44 C&C is a beautiful blend of a comfortable sailing vessel that is very capable of performing under race conditions is being offered for a very reasonable $85,500.  The two-stateroom layout features a large centerline Island berth aft with head and shower. Her current Performance Handicap Racing Fleet (PHRF) for the Chesapeake Bay is a base handicap of 72! Rigged for shorthanded sailing or club racing.  This is the ideal yacht for two couples or a family with children. It is a racer and a cruiser that successfully exists in both genres. The first impression of this vessel is one of the sleek, notorious C&C hull shape that has been the signature of these vessels since inception.  It is designed and built as a high caliber, attractive, comfortable, yacht that will appeal to both the cruiser and the aspiring racer.  A walk around the boat on the hard reveals the beautifully engineered keel centerboard that, once again, affords the best of performance for the competitive sailor, and allows the cruiser of shallower waters to do just that- cruise in the Chesapeake unfettered.  Looking at her deck layout and rigging, it is apparent it to favors the go-fast strategy- a multitude of winches, rod rigging, hydraulic backstay adjuster, running back stays, and a variety of ways to adjust the sails, shape the mast, and tweak the sail plan if the need is for speed.  But, if an easy, laid-back cruise is your plan, you don’t need any of the gadgets and widgets. Just set the sails and go. Below, Endurance is nicely appointed and updated with BRAND NEW TEAK FLOORING throughout.  Additionally, all her salon windows were replaced.  The starboard settee can be folded out into a double bunk.  The aft cabin sleeps two comfortably on a full queen size centerline bed. There are five opening ports in this cabin. Endurance has two heads.  The aft head features a full shower ensemble.  The forward head is adjacent to the spacious V berth. The L-shaped galley is equipped with SeaFrost refrigeration, a Force 10 propane stove/oven, microwave, and hot and cold pressure water systems.  The main salon features a centerline drop leaf table, keel stepped mast and settee.   The vessel is powered by a Yanmar 54hp diesel with low hours (400) which easily drives the medium displacement (20,000 lbs.) hull through the chop.  The propeller is a three-blade feathering prop that gives optimum performance under power and feathers to zero pitch under sail for minimum drag. Topside, her deck was recently sealed, painted, and new anti-skid was applied.  Her owner’s passion for is evident by how she shines. C&C Yachts was formed in 1969, when Canadian boat builders Belleville Marine Yard, Hinterhoeller Ltd. and Bruckmann Manufacturing joined forces with the design firm of Cuthbertson & Cassian (C&C) Ltd.  C&C Yachts quickly established a reputation as a builder of high-quality sailing yachts that were also successful on the racecourse.  Throughout the late 1970's and early 1980's, C&C continued to develop and build new models, all of which were well received.  Their revamped racing program brought the brand additional renown.  By 1985, C&C yachts was left with a single plant at Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario.

    SALE PENDING.  I will remove the listing when the sale is complete.  Thanks for all the interest.    This is my baby, everything was meticulously maintained, and unfortunately I have to let it go. Boat and Trailer are both in truly Excellent Condition, completely ready to go anywhere, across country or across town to the lake. The pilothouse design is surprisingly cool, due to the white hardtop, and it's nice to not mess with canvas and all those snaps... just shut the door.  Sorry to have to say this, but if you're reading this then yes, it's available.   Always dry-stored out of sun and weather in custom built boat shed on trailer, many mods and upgrades, all freshwater use except for 4 brief vacations to coastal areas (always back on trailer at the end of the day, rinsed/flushed thoroughly, and Salt-Away run through engines when back in freshwater). You can find out more about these boats on the owner forum, search for “C-brats”. There are many of these boats built in the 80's that are still going strong. Dependable 2005 90HP Honda with just 578 hrs. and outstanding gas mileage, 2017 Tohatsu 6HP trolling/kicker engine with just 50 hrs. Many items replaced/upgraded for preventive maintenance, and all filters, plugs, oil, lower unit oil just replaced, impeller and lower unit seals replaced… it needs absolutely nothing and is ready for the water. Sleeps 3, 4 with a simple mod.  Custom berth mattress plus extra foam topper, Lowrance Chartplotter/Fish Finder, Depth finder, Bennett Trim tabs, Uniden VHF, mid-ships stock bilge and Rule 2000 stern bilge, high water alarm, no leak front hatch with fan, Shorepower with 120v panel and 2 power strips, 12V panel, Norcold refrigerator/freezer, Butane stove, privacy blinds for all windows and door, Manson Supreme Anchor, porta toilet, 20 gal. freshwater tank, Livewell, Custom Camperback Canvas, upgraded swim step ladder, spare prop, too much more to list. Boat and trailer weigh under 5,000 lbs., only 11,000 miles on the trailer: 2018 Load Rite Elite Tandem Aluminum, bunks, all SS hardware, SS brake lines, disc brakes on all 4 wheels, EOH brakes (electric-over-hydraulic – no more surge brake problems, it just works every time), SuperLube bearings (no pressure issues like Bearing Buddies – just use a grease gun and add grease whenever you want). Bearings recently replaced, dedicated ground wire and marine grade wire installed (no more light problems).  A really solid, no-fuss trailer. I have the Marine Survey from when I bought the boat and it's available to review in person for serious buyers. And sorry to have to say this but please, serious inquiries only, and no lowball offers... I'm not desperate to sell, I know exactly what it's worth, and it's priced accordingly.  It's truly in Excellent Condition... never any issues, never any leaks from hatch or windows, the boat itself is dry as a bone never any leaks at all, never any engine trouble, etc.  It's a truly solid boat and trailer. 2011 GMC Sierra 1500 Worktruck is also available for sale, 52,800 miles, VGC, towing capacity 11,000 lbs, primarily used to tow the boat (just ~5,000 lbs loaded). Get the whole package and you’re ready to go anywhere, anytime.
