Ferretti Yachts 920, exhibiting all of the serene strength of a giant of the nautical world, is an exceptional yacht not just in terms of its size but also because of its innovative nature. The splendid flybridge, designed by the Ferretti Group’s Product Strategy Committee and Engineering Department in conjunction with Zuccon International Project, stands out due to the ground-breaking introduction of the “wide body” concept. In addition to giving the yacht an imposing presence on the water, the raised forward section of the hull has also allowed a “wide-body” master suite to be included on the main deck. The yacht’s “bold” character is emphasized by the gunwale, which continues beyond the bulwark walkways and “cuts” into the design of the windows in the master cabin. The majestic Ferretti Yachts 920 (28.49 metres LOA) instantly catches the eye. Meanwhile, the hull is 23.98 metres long, so it can be registered as a recreational craft. Its dynamic, irrepressible profile develops the stylistic design features that have led to the international success of recently launched models and have completely modernised the fleet. In addition to the raised forward section, other stunning aspects include the remarkable number of relaxation spaces and the luxurious furnishings in the outdoor areas. The magnificent interiors rival the versions found in higher category models. The pilot house is a technical area with a “futuristic” design. The captain can run the entire yacht from here thanks to a large control station, equipped with a next-gen steering system and a number of touchscreen displays that encompass all of the on-board monitoring systems and navigation instruments.
The Ferretti Yachts 960 is the largest planing pleasure boat ever built by Ferretti Group. The flagship of the brand results from the collaboration between Studio Zuccon International Project, Ferretti Group Engineering, the team of engineers and architects of the Group, and AYT&D (Advanced Yacht Technology & Design), the research center of the Group. With its 29.20 meters of length overall and 23.97 meters of hull length it can be managed as a pleasure boat, even without a professional captain. Ferretti Yachts 960 features an unparalleled livability. It is the first yacht of the brand with the owner cabin located on the main deck and four VIP cabins on the lower deck each equipped , with its own en-suite facility, enormous glazing for natural light and portholes for ventilation. The vessel offers numerous solutions and attributes which usually are reserved for vessels over 100’ including 3 crew cabins of which 1 is exclusively for the captain as well as a separate access to the crew quarters directly from the galley. The flybridge at the stern area are entirely devoted to leisure. The garage door is fitted with cushions, while the bathing platform can be immersed in the water to allow for the launching of the tender in just a matter of minutes from the floodable garage without the need of a davit: a system which has set the benchmark in the industry for a never before seen solution on a vessel of this size…until now. The flagship model of the Ferretti Yachts range will be available with three different engine options, offering a minimum of 2218 hp to 2638 hp, the latter ensuring performance characteristics which make the 960 the quickest vessel in its class by reaching speeds up to 30 knots. The vessel is equipped in the standard version with electro-hydraulic fins with both the zerospeed and the underway features, giving owners an incredibly elevated level of stability to reduce roll and ensure maximum comfort onboard, at anchor and during navigation.
Designing a vessel for Ferretti Yachts has always meant venturing into uncharted territory in order to produce a unique blend of performance, comfort and style in masterpieces with unrivalled seagoing qualities. On this front, it is essential for the engineers, technicians, architects and designers to share the same goals. Today, constant collaboration of this kind takes place between the Ferretti Group’s Product Strategy Committee, its Engineering Department and the Designers that work with the Group in prestigious partnership. Thanks to original stylistic features, functions and state-of-the-art systems, Ferretti Yachts continues to tell a story of nautical gems, with a flybridge fleet that now ranges from 45 to 96 feet and can satisfy the needs of all owners.
STAIRWAY TO THE SEA “Twenty years from now, you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do.” These words by Mark Twain are one of the many reasons why you should choose to sail in the new Ferretti Yachts 450. Because it was designed and built specifically with the idea of inspiring new owners and taking everyone else by surprise. Because Ferretti Yachts has concentrated all of its yachting heritage and construction know-how in this yacht to stay ahead in the 40- to 50-foot sector with a yacht that is innovative and enthralling for the shape of its hull, its generous volumes, air of elegance, and practical layout of its interiors. With its sporty lines and abundance of natural light in the living areas, the Ferretti Yachts 450 exploits the contrast of materials and colours on board, creating a sophisticated dialogue between the veneers, lacquered surfaces and ample use of textiles. The yacht is the outcome of the collaboration between Ferretti Group’s Product Strategic Committee, the Group’s Engineering Department – that supervised the technical and naval engineering – and Studio Zuccon International Project, which designed the exteriors and interiors. The yacht is already being built at the new production facility in Forlì, ahead of its official debut at the 2016 Cannes Yachting Festival.
This flybridge yacht plays a crucial role in the brand’s development strategy. The Ferretti Yachts 550, which features an unprecedented hull design, equipment and engine room arrangement and interior layout, is once again the brilliant outcome of the long-standing cooperation between the Group, its Engineering Department in particular, and Studio Zuccon International Project. This yacht combines elegance and a very sporty character, with clear-cut and yet very seducing lines. The main deck uninterrupted glazing ‘cuts’ the yacht’s profile, increasing its dynamic look, while the three large glazed surfaces on the hull sides - the cabin windows - perfectly harmonize with the overall design and grant magnificent views from the interiors as well as plenty of natural light. The frameless fiberglass flush portholes result in very clean lines. The lowered flybridge and the new forward lounge area on the wheelhouse offer incredibly wide outdoor relaxation areas, ensuring great privacy with no impact on the craft’s slender profile.
The Ferretti Yachts 670 is our first gift to the yachting world, and to ourselves, to celebrate 2018 – our 50th anniversary year – in style. She is the fruit of the partnership between the Ferretti Group Product Strategy Committee and the Engineering department – the first Ferretti yacht with external design by Ferretti Group and architect Filippo Salvetti, while the interiors were created by the Group’s own architects and designers. The Ferretti Yachts 670 – which enters production in January 2018 – is the natural heiress to the much-loved 65-footer. A model of smart evolution, she combines some of the features from the 2016 and 2017 boats (the Ferretti Yachts 450, 780, 850 and 920) with some major innovations of her own. As a striking example, the excellent use of space, inside and out, assures the owner and their guests a perfect blend of conviviality and privacy. The Ferretti Yachts 670 is actually a 67-footer (measuring 20.24 m) with amenities typically found on larger vessels – as you can see from the layout: the standard version offers 3 generous cabins on the lower deck. Meanwhile, the aerodynamically designed exteriors revel in clean shapes and sinuous lines, riding the wave of success enjoyed by the last Ferretti Yachts unveiled in 2017: the 780 and 920.
Evolution is the keyword that guides almost half a century of design and vision at Ferretti Yachts. Continuous research driven by innovation to create yachts that meet each owner’s unique desires in terms of comfort, style, navigation and safety at sea. The most recent yacht created with this philosophy is the new Ferretti Yachts 780. This philosophy is also evident in the aerodynamic design, which is brought to life by the clean shapes and sleek lines, accentuated by the choice to resize the height of the hull’s topsides to the benefit of the overall sporty character of the yacht. The aggressive look is enhanced by the separation between fiberglass elements and the glass surfaces. The hull design in particular takes the stylistic feature of the three windows corresponding to the guest cabins, from the new Ferretti Yachts 450 and 550. In the superstructure, we find the shapes of the over 80’ flybridge yachts, which are added to the front and side section of the command station. An important innovation is the stern area, which offers the comforts of a real beach club with the new door operating system. Once the tailgate is fully opened, the space is transformed into a remarkable relaxing area close to the water. The shipyard offers the installation of a roll bar for satellite systems, which can be integrated by a modular hard top with a center awning or glass protection. Like the entire Ferretti Yachts fleet, the new 78-foot will be available in the version Tai He Ban. This design philosophy captivated audiences and critics in all Asia Pacific markets.
A maxi loft surrounded by the sea.Rugged and seductive, Ferretti Yachts 850 New dazzles you from the moment you set eyes upon it, thanks to its clean and dynamic profile featuring striking, clear-cut angles giving you a powerful and bold look. Ferretti Group’s Product Strategy Committee, Studio Zuccon International Project, and the Group’s Engineering Department joined forces to design the yacht. With a hull measuring 26 meters and a construction length below 24 meters, the new flybridge can be registered as a pleasure craft. The two trapezoidal hull windows with integrated portholes make the most of the natural light and provide magnificent views from the inside. The design of the main deck enhances the overall experience, thanks to a single full-height window which cuts through the entire superstructure, plus the large front and side dome at the raised helm station. The yacht is equipped with a mechanism whereby the transom door swings open to provide a swimming platform, which becomes a beach area and can be lowered below the water surface, offering a large submersible platform for guests as well as a practical solution for the crew's tender moving operations. The yacht is a magnificent maxi loft surrounded by the sea. The use of perpendicular partitions, almost full-height glazed surfaces, light and pleated curtains, and freestanding furniture are typical elements of this ultra-contemporary metropolitan concept. In contrast with the geometry of the superstructure, the interior is dominated by flat surfaces and linear panelling, characterized by discreet minimalism and a soft, essential mood.
