CLASSIFICATION Vessels drawings and structural calculations have been approved by Lloyd�s Register of Shipping. HULL The hull is of glass reinforced polyester (GRP) construction made of two side hulls connected by means of a caisson type bridge. The side hulls are single skin moldings, strengthened by means of longitudinally stiffeners and supported every meter by web frames of GRP sandwich construction. The connecting bridge comprises of one lower deck (wet deck) and the main deck, strengthened by means of longitudinal and transverse girders. The wet deck is the single skin laminate and the main deck and girders are made of sandwich construction. The side hulls and the connecting bridge are divided into eight watertight compartments. NEW CATAMARAN IN GRP AND COMPOSITE STILL IN SHIPYARD. Vessel main details - given in good faith, but without guaranty. Built in GRP composite to highest Government controlled specifications in purpose built workshop. Designed as a fast pax ferry The ship may be finished after owners wishes. Dimensions : Loa 32,60m LWL 26,85m Beam 10,8m Draft max: 1,85m Designed to carry 228 pax plus crew. Maximum payload 28 tons No engine installed. TANKS ON BOARD Suggested for SES: 2 x Deutz MWM TBD604V16, 1826 KW each, Gear: 2 x ZF, BU755 Gearboxes at 1:8:1reduction driven by 2 Kamewa waterjet with estimated full load speed of 45 knots. Range 400 nm at speed 45 knots. Gen sets suggested 120 Kw. SUGGESTED USE WITHOUT SES : HAMILTON WATERJET WITH 2 MAIN ENGINES 1200 HP EACH . THE CAT IS ABLE TO RECEIVE THE HYSUCAT HYDROFOIL SYSTEM .
